Once again the pictures didn't show up where I put them - more of the reunion. We slept in tents outside and in the house and in the trailer. It was a lot of fun. We need to get together more often.

I thought I would go back a couple years to when we had a Dougal family reunion and it was mom and dad's 50th wedding anniversary. So here are a few pictures from that night that we celebrated their anniversary. See if anyone has changed much.

Here are some before I planted t he garden pictures and some after. I planted lettuce, radishes, green beans, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and zuccini. Brother Byers came over to pick some apricots the other day and saw that the green beans were going yellow so told me what fertilizer to try and then came back with some. I should put it on weekly he said so I need to go and buy some - hopefully I can remember the name - I think it was mit liter because I related it to cat liter. So I will probably go into J&J and ask for cat liter knowing me!

That is a picture of the apple tree that we planted just before Dann left in March to go back to Afganistan. It actually has some apples on it. I need to spray it so if anyone knows what with please let me know!
The apricot tree that we are slowly getting the apricots picked from. I have froze some and dried some.

Then their is a picture of the peach tree and the hazel nut tree.

Thise is a picture taken in the springtime when we didn't have much growing. Now we have flowers and tons of blackberries. Brother Byers wanted a start but we didn't have any growing up on our side but the next door neighbors do so I told him to go and ask them for the start because I don't think they want them so they told him he could dig it up. He thought the blackberries were wonderful!

The maple tree that is pretty much dead on one side and the main branch up the middle. We cut off the two side branches because Mike Petersen told us that there are some new branches growing on t hat side and they needed room to branch out. The other maple tree has grown quite a bit this year and is doing well. Knock on wood.
Relaxing outside after eating dinner and having cake.

Have a seat Debbie!
Jason looks so small!
More of Jon's birthday morning before they left for girls camp.

Kanien was at girls camp for Jon's birthday. Jon and Marcella drove up to girls camp that day. In the morning while Jon was getting ready to go Marcella and I went to the store so Marcella could get him a present. She picked out several different kinds of gummies - sour and not sour, some salt and vinegar chips and a card. The card she wanted was a fathers day card but she wouldn't let me put it back so I crossed out happy fathers day and wrote happy birthday. she liked the outside of the card it had rockets on it. I don't know why she wanted that card so much. she carried the bag into the house and we called Jon downstairs to open it. I didn't get very good pictures but here they are.

She had not had breakfast yet and wanted some gummies and then some chips and Jon told her she had to eat breakfast first which she didn't like. After breakfast she got to have chips and she sat on the stairs with the bag of chips and ate some.

Rosalee is opening her presents with the help of Marcella! I can never get these posts on in the order that I want them to show up on the blog so you get what you see in the order that they show up.

Marcella is also helping Rosalee blow out her one candle!
Lilly ate lunch with Marcella one day. They like to play together and are the same age. Marcella is two weeks older. Lilly was born on Marcella's due date so they were both born 2 weeks early. They are pretty good when they play together. We are working on teaching them to share. They both seem to want what the other one has. Marcella will usually give up what she has to Lilly. They like to swim in the little pool together - not actually swim - just get wet and water the flowers with the water from the pool.

Rosalee had a birthday on May 26th and I'm just barely getting the pictures off of my camera onto the computer. I think she was kinda sad that day because none of her family was around - they had a few mixups. We tried to make it happy for her. We (Kanien, Marcella and I) made her a candy bar poster, made cupcakes, had a couple balloons and some presents. We took her out to eat along with David to Fiesta Quadalahara (don't know how to spell it!) It was fun.
