Marcella sees this picture on my screen saver and gets excited to see grandpa. It's fun to see that she still remembers him.
This was at Ben's farewell. We had Marcella with us. Kanien and Jon were at the cabin for their anniversary.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA - LOVE MARCELLA! Happy birthday from the rest of us too. Love ya lots
Welcome Home David!! Rosalee made the sign - Jason is glad to have his brother home.
David eating watermelon with his chopsticks and he ate his cereal with chopsticks also - fruity pebbles.

We were all excited to see him. It's fun to see such big smiles!
We went upstairs thinking we would find David there and missed him! But finally found him! He looks good! Welcome Home David.
I can't seem to get the pictures in the order that I want so this one is out of order but this is Jason and Damian thinking they are tough. They start training this week and then practice the next two weeks.
Another shot waiting for David.
Jon was so excited to greet David and gave him a great big kiss on the cheek. Marcella wasn't sure what to think of that!

This is a raspberry from our garden - it is gigantic - there is one spot in the raspberries that the water and miracle grow fall on more than the rest and in that spot we have berries like this! Nathan has been awesome to pick the raspberries and Jason has helped some too. Nathan enjoys picking them and making raspberry milkshakes.I'm not real good at doing this blog thing yet and these pictures came up out of order and I don't know how to change it around yet so next we have a picture of the bathroom and then there are some more raspberries! oops!
This is the bathroom/laundry room all clean and painted! We need to get a rug to put in the laundry room. When we put in new linoleum we didn't put it in the laundry room - we put down a carpet instead but that was dirty and gross so we took it out and now need a rug that size until we can get the old stuff up and put something else down.
Rosalee came over to pick the cherries from our tree for us - her dad came and helped her. I had Marcella so we just watched.
Marcella is looking out the window watching Rosalee pick the cherries
Kanien and Jason working on painting the bathroom/laundry room - it's been a slow process but Kanien, Nathan, Jason, Jon and Amie have been working on it diligently for me - in the meantime we have put everything from there into the dining room/kitchen and it has become rather messy.
As you can see. . . . .
So messy that we can't let Marcella crawl around on the floor that we brought down the playpen on the last night and put her in while we cleaned the bathroom/laundry room and the kitchen/dining room. She was happy standing up watching us and playing with toys for awhile but it didn't last long.
Nathan is nailing on the floor boards - Jon was cutting them and figuring out the angles for us - I didn't get a picture of him while he was in there doing that (sorry Jon). It all came together for the most part and looks pretty good. We still have the floor boards and the door frame to do on the inside of the bathroom but we are saving that for Ralph to finish for us.

Marcella fell down in the middle of the toys today when she was playing and was stuck.
She was here for the whole day playing with Grandma, Uncle Nathan, and Uncle Jason while her mom worked on painting the bathroom/laundry room - we all helped Kanien but we all played with Marcella too.

This was last year at Jon's birthday - soon he will be another year older! We played pin the tail on the donkey and a couple other games. Thought I would try and see if I could post pictures without the help of Kanien. So far so good. Jon was pretending to help us all but really throwing us off where we should be.
Dann quite couldn't get the hang of it without peeking!
And then off course they had fun at my expense really trying to throw me off the path I should take.
These pictures were taken on the weekend that we had Marcella so Dann could spend some time with her before he left. I thought the look on Marcella's face was pretty funny.
And last but not least this picture is just plain cute! Dann is twinkling which you don't see too often - especially lately and Marcella is so precious.
