Lilly ate lunch with Marcella one day. They like to play together and are the same age. Marcella is two weeks older. Lilly was born on Marcella's due date so they were both born 2 weeks early. They are pretty good when they play together. We are working on teaching them to share. They both seem to want what the other one has. Marcella will usually give up what she has to Lilly. They like to swim in the little pool together - not actually swim - just get wet and water the flowers with the water from the pool.

Rosalee had a birthday on May 26th and I'm just barely getting the pictures off of my camera onto the computer. I think she was kinda sad that day because none of her family was around - they had a few mixups. We tried to make it happy for her. We (Kanien, Marcella and I) made her a candy bar poster, made cupcakes, had a couple balloons and some presents. We took her out to eat along with David to Fiesta Quadalahara (don't know how to spell it!) It was fun.

Here are the pictures of Nathan and Amy's baby that was born on May 21, 2007. He weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. and was 21 inches long. He has quite a bit of hair and Nathan put it into a mohawk! I took more pictures but these are the only ones that turned out. Nathan took tons of pictures and he will be posting them on his blog sometime in the near future. Amy comes home either tomorrow or Wed. and they will give their precious little baby to Jer and Jen the family that they picked to raise their baby. It is a happy/sad time for all of us. It is happy in the fact that we were able to see him, hold him and spend time with him and knowing that he is going to a good couple who is so excited to love him and raise him. They are planning on keeping in touch with Nathan and Amy. We love Nathan and Amy and hope that they can have peace in the decision that they made at this difficult time in their lives.

This is ready to bloom anyday now. Remember last year how it only had one flower on it. This year it has several and I can't remember what this is but it does come back every year bigger and better.

One of socks favorite places to be is sitting on the motorcycle and the other place is on top of the roof of my car. I didn't get a picture of that. Marcella thinks it's funny that the cat likes to sit on the motorcycle.

Marcella would hold the scoop in one hand and with the other hand she would pick up the sand and put it into another container in the sandbox. Then when she was done playing in the sandbox she was walking to the swings and did not like the feel of sand in her shoes so we had to take her shoes off and empty out the sand and clean off her feet.

Jason was blowing bubbles for Marcella to step on. she wasn't too interested in bubbles at that time.

Kanien came over today and left Marcella with me for the evening while they went to the Temple. I took a bunch of pictures of her playing in the pool, playing in the sandbox and of the yard for dann to see. so here goes I think I have 34 pictures to put on. It was a little cold at first but once she got in she thought it was great. She wouldn't get in so I went and stood in it and said come on I'll hold your hand and you can get in so she did and then I couldn't get her away from it. she would get in and out. She liked the cup that she is holding and she was laughing hysterically because she would fill that cup with water and then throw it on me. I was standing so that I would block the sun from being on her. I used sun screen but it's old and I didn't want the wrath of Kanien and Jon if she were to become sunburned. when she would throw the water at me sometimes it would get her on top of the head and her hat was soaked by the time we were through. She wanted to take it off and I told her that if she did we would have to go in the house so she put it right back on.

Good Morning! Marcella slept really well last night and woke up bright and early at 5:30 - she graciously let me sleep until 6:30 then wanted out of the playpen - so we got up and played. We ate an early breakfast at 7:30 - we had whole wheat pancakes and then we got dressed and did Marcella's hair. Now we are all ready to go outside when it warms up a little bit! She is anxiously waiting to get outside!

Kanien and Jon will be moving in with us June 1st so they are preparing the two rooms that they get. They will be living with us for the summer and then will move down to Provo. Jon was accepted into BYU so they will be living down there. We are going to put the crib for Marcella in the office. Jon and Kanien will have Kanien's old room and they will use the play room as a family room for them so they can escape from Jason and I if they need too!

Marcella would play with the toys and was fine until Kanien would start pulling off the panelling and then it would scare her and she would run out of the room or to me. She eventually got use to the noise though! She is spending the night with me tonight. We had a fun night playing until she got tired and then she went around the house calling and looking for her mommy and daddy - she hasn't ever done that before it was kinda sad. She stopped crying for them after 10 min. or so and we played for a little while longer and then when it was time for bed she cried for them again. I layed her down and she cried for a few minutes but is asleep now and that's where I'm headed. Tomorrow is a big day doing some yard work with the kids and having a bbq. Most of them (except for Nathan) have planned other things to get out of working in the yard all day! David and Rose will be working in her parents yard for awhile for them while they are vacationing. Kanien and Jon will be at the temple in the morning and then a luncheon for his mothers birthday and then they will come over here and Jason will be working to earn money instead of slave labor for his mother! (he might have it off though so we will see). Hopefully the weather is nice.

It was a cold day today but Marcella still loves to be outside. We took her outside for a few minutes before her nap. she loves going down the slide, swinging on the swing, playing in the sandbox - she just likes being outside.

I need to have Jon or Kanien show me how to turn or move the pictures again because I can't seem to do it. I've got the basics down but nothing fancy that's for sure.

Here are pictures of the Maple tree - This is for Dann's benefit. He wanted to see the dead branch that I want to chop off before I chop it off. Can't see it too well but you can get an idea I guess. It's the branch in the middle if you enlarge the picture you can see the branches on the far right have blooms on them but haven't bloomed out as much as the left side.
