Marcella has been staying with us while Kanien and Jon work. She came over wed. night and will be here until Saturday evening. It's been fun having her. She wears me out, we are constantly on the go from the time she gets up until the time she falls asleep at night. I have laid by here the last two nights until she goes to sleep which is rather fast - she is worn out by the time she gets into bed. It's all worth it when she is laying there almost asleep and she says grandma I love you. I don't know what order these pictures will show up in but they are random pictures that we took last night and today of the various things we did. She loves to feed the puppies. She is a little nervous at first and I have to hold her when we let them out of their kennel but by the time we put them away she is the one leading them in and locking the door. She also likes to give them food through the holes in the kennel. She played with the next door neighbor today Lily and they had fun swinging and playing on their bikes. After lunch we got out the swimming pool and Marcella had a blast until the neighbors, Carson and Nikiya starting swimming and tonight when she was in bed I asked her what the best part about her day was and she said playing in my wimming pool. She said she liked it the best by herself and not having everyone over there. She likes going in the garden area and walking on the stepping stones and we caught her sitting on this stone so Grandpa went and showed her some of the things in the garden and we took a picture of them. There is a picture of Nathan trying to exercise his dog by having the dog chase him. Marcella loves corn on the cob and we had it again tonight. She ate two pieces and lots of watermelon. She loves grandpa to read to her before she goes to sleep so we went to the DI yesterday and picked out some more books. She said she wants to swim some more tomorrow by herself. Dann and Nathan are going to try and get cement poured. Today has been the hottest day of the y ear so far. It was nice.

Baxter and Chester - Chester is the black one. They chase each other over a chew bone that they have. Chester gets it and taunts Baxter and they run all around half the yard then chester hides under the chair until he is ready to go again. They wrestle with each other and pull each other along by their tails, ears, collars. It's pretty funny to watch.












Dann has been working on the garden. We have peas coming up and have planted green beans, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, radishes, spinach. He is also transplanting the raspberries into the boxes. I went to AZ for 5 days to visit with my mom and Ralph. We went to Show Low AZ one day to get them a RV spot for the summer months. It was a 3 1/2 hour drive there and back. A long day but it was fun to go up there and see where they will be for the summer. It was cold~! We had fun the r est of the time playing games, went out to eat a couple times, looked at some cars and visited. It was a nice visit and I enjoyed being there. The picture of the cat, Socks is how I found her tonight. She is a crazy cat. She is learning to tolerate the dogs but they are wanting to play with her and they chased her down the stairs today when she got to the bottom of the stairs she turned around and swatted at them and they jumped and ran the other way.

Random pictures - of our yard with the tulips and daffodils. Two dogs that Jason showed up with at our house tonight. They were free and I just had to have them. The black one is suppose to be going to another place tomorrow - quote from Jason "I saved it from being put to sleep" The other dog he wants to keep. Dann gave him a one month trial period to see how it goes. Nathan wants the black one - so who knows what we will end up keeping. They are retriever/blueheeler mix. Anyone want the black one let me know. And then the pictures of the dollhouse are from the last time Marcella was here. She set it all up the way it is in the picture and then came and told me that she had it all set just right and put up. I thought it was pretty funny. At the time I told her thanks for putting it away. After she left I saw how she had it all set up - thought it was pretty cute!

Our Easter Weekend! Saturday Kanien, Marcella and Kristen came over and we had an Easter egg hunt with some of the neighbor children. Then we colored Easter eggs. Nathan and Amy were here for that also. Sunday we had a nice day at church. After church Dann fixed a ham for dinner - I refuse to cook a ham anymore - mine are always dry but Dann knows how to cook them and they are so moist and good. Everyone came over for dinner - except Jason chose to spend the day with Ashley and her family. We had another Easter Egg hunt and ate dinner. After dinner we went outside and tore apart a pinata. We did an Easter egg hunt also where we learned about Christ and his death and resurrection. It was a nice day.
